Cucumber Lime Mint Wine Recipe

This refreshing white wine is great on hot summer days. The mint really comes through, followed by the lime and a hint of cucumber. Plus, it’s super easy to make using store bought juice.

Ingredients & Equipment

  • 2 x 64 oz Langers Cucumber Lime Mint juice

  • 2 cups sugar

  • One gallon glass jug

  • Lalvin EC-1118 yeast

  • Bentonite

  • Fermax yeast nutrient

Directions

  • Pour 2 cups of juice from one 64 oz bottle and save for drinking (or backsweetening later)
  • Pour remaining 64 oz bottle of juice and the other bottle of juice into the gallon jug
  • Add 2 cups of sugar and stir or shake until sugar is dissolved
  • Take a hydrometer ready – the SG should be 1.080
  • Add 1/4 tsp of bentonite
  • Add 1/4 tsp of yeast nutrient
  • Add EC-1118 yeast
  • Stir or shake until ingredients are well mixed
  • Ferment until the hydrometer reads 1.000 or less
  • Rack into a clean glass jug, leaving behind any yeast that has fallen to the bottom
  • Leave until clear or use Sparkolloid as directed for faster clearing
  • Add Potassium Sorbate and Campden tablet (if desired for stabilizing)
