This fruity wine has tons of strawberry flavor without any need for dealing with whole fruit. This is one of my favorite wines for summer and guests have loved it as well.
Strawberry Wine (One Gallon)

2 x 64 oz White Cranberry Strawberry juice (Ocean Spray or Kroger brand)
2 cans Jumex Strawberry nectar
1.5 cups of sugar
1/4 tsp bentonite
1/4 tsp Fermax yeast nutrient
Lalvin EC-1118 yeast
One gallon glass jug
Directions
- Pour 2 cans of strawberry nectar into glass jug
- Pour one 64 bottle of juice into jug
- Add another 4 cups of juice from the second bottle (save remaining juice for drinking)
- Add 1.5 cups of sugar and stir or shake until sugar is dissolved
- Take a hydrometer reading – SG should be a little above 1.070
- Add bentonite
- Add yeast nutrient
- Add EC-1118 yeast
- Stir or shake until ingredients are well mixed
- Ferment until the hydrometer reads 1.000 or less
- Rack into a clean glass jug, leaving behind any yeast that has fallen to the bottom
- Leave until clear or use Sparkolloid as directed for faster clearing
- Add Potassium Sorbate and Campden tablet (if desired for stabilizing)
